The 2019 Red, White & Kaboom will be held on July 3rd, from 6pm – 9pm and will take place at Lake Mirror along the Frances Langford Promenade. The City Saints will be performing at this free event thanks to T. Mims Corp and City of Lakeland. Even though the event is free, donations will be collected for VISTE(Volunteers In Service For The Elderly). You can bring a canned food item as they will be collected at the event or you can text FEEDLAKELAND to 50155.
There will be 10 food trucks at the event so there will be plenty of food. A watermelon eating contest will be held right before 7pm which is a fun tradition which will be carried over from previous years and sign up will be held on site. The fireworks will be held around 9pm over the lake. This event is a great Lakeland tradition that is family friendly and is something that brings the community together!
